For a Bulgarian lubricants manufacturer, we implemented an Automated System for the Control of Excise Goods (ASO) that tracks materials and products, monitors stock, and reports directly to the National Customs Agency in compliance with regulations.
Background
To comply with regulatory requirements, the client needed to implement an Automated Excise Reporting (ASO) system for real-time data submission to the Customs Agency. The system was designed to track the inbound and outbound flow of excise raw materials used in the production of lubricating greases, monitor the movement of intermediate and finished products between the production areas and the warehouse, and report all recorded sales.
Solution
We delivered the necessary hardware components to integrate with the existing flow meters and provided mobile computers to support warehouse operations. A Modbus communication module was implemented to enable real-time meter readings, and our WMS was extended to support base greases as raw materials. In addition, a reporting module compliant with customs regulations was developed to ensure real-time submission of all required data.
